Sophia Strobel
A mezzo-soprano, classically trained with 17 years of performance experience in both opera and piano. As a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in Vocal Performance, Strobel has achieved numerous awards in solo and choral performances.
Ms. Strobel is an elite performer, singing in six foreign languages and is highly accomplished in onstage performances amidst influential arts patrons. Notably, she has performed across Europe and the United States in both theatre and operas. Some performances include solos at Carnegie Hall in New York, Geneva, Switzerland with the Juilliard School, and the Segerstrom Center in Orange County, California.
Strobel is the recipient of multiple Music Center Spotlight Awards in Los Angeles, CA for her solo art song performances. She was an ambassador for The Los Angeles Opera and also performed in their summer production of Brundibar, where she was honored to meet Ella Weissberger, a Holocaust survivor who played the same role she was selected for.

She has been featured in the Orange County Register as Artist of the Week and won the Talent Award at Miss California for her solo performance of “Habanera” in Carmen. Strobel has been awarded honors and recognition by Tanglewood, So Cal Vocal Association, Young Musicians Foundation, Montecito International Music Festival, the Julliard Young Artists Program, and more.
Ms. Strobel has taught students ranging from 5 to 50 years old, and loves seeing each of her students succeed and flourish in their newfound confidence and love of their musical craft. She prides herself in her dedication and excellence in her craft and loves teaching. She inspires students of all ages to grow in confidence, take courage to get onstage, and shine.
